Legal notice

This page gives the information that the laws of several countries require from the provider of an online service (for example § 5 of the German Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz and Article 6 of the French LCEN), and the contact points that the EU Digital Services Act requires.

Digital Services Act

• Single point of contact for authorities in the EU (Article 11) and for people who use Psst (Article 12): [email protected]. You can write to us in English or in any language Psst is offered in.
• Legal representative in the EU (Article 13): none, because Psst is not offered in the EU. Psst will appoint one before it is.
• Reporting illegal content: use Report on the profile, wall post or message in the app, or write to [email protected] describing the content, where you saw it (the venue and the night) and why you believe it is illegal. Reports reach the Psst safety team, which handles them as described in the Community Guidelines.

Tax

VAT identification number: not applicable. Psst is not registered for VAT in the EU.

Consumer dispute resolution

Psst is neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, unless the law of your country requires it. The European Commission's online dispute resolution platform closed in July 2025, so this page no longer links to it.

Liability for content and links

We prepare psst.dating and the Psst apps with care, but we cannot guarantee that every page is complete, correct and current at every moment. What members and venues post (photos, profiles, messages and announcements) is their own content; we act on reports and remove unlawful content once we know of it. Our pages link to other sites, such as the app stores and our partners' sites, whose content we do not control; we check a link when we add it and remove it once we learn that the site behind it is unlawful.

The texts, design, artwork and software of Psst are protected by copyright. You may not copy, adapt or distribute them beyond what the law allows without our written permission. The photos members post belong to them; the Terms of Service describe the limited license they grant Psst.
